Interelements Group Therapy
Group Therapy may be the approach for you if you are having difficulties related to:
- anxiety, depression, or eating problems
- how you feel about yourself as a person (eg. low self esteem)
- how you initiate and experience work and intimate relationships
- how important relationships from your past influence your life and your current relationships
- how you understand the psychological aspects and meanings of your physical symptoms (eg. types of recurrent pain, fatigue, gastrointestinal problems)
- how you strive to meet your needs and create meaning in your life

GROUP THERAPY is an opportunity to understand the emotional factors underlying the difficulties you may be experiencing. With new insight you may find symtom improvement and be more able to make changes and informed choices in your life. This unfolds through the process of meeting with a therapy group on a regular basis to talk confidentially about personal matters. As a group member you would have the opportunity to notice and explore typical patterns and emotions, reactions and behaviors that occur in many parts of your life.

In our experience, group therapy is beneficial in the following ways:

- over time you may re-experience some of your interpersonal patterns with members of the group and thus be able to understand them and change them.
- some symptoms can result from the many complicated ways in which you may avoid experiencing feelings. Allowing yourself to tolerate your feelings as they naturally arise, can be very healing.
